This award-winning program will help you to prepare for the fire season. This is a full day of learning and practical training to provide the skills and experience should you or your home face a potential bush fire. You will also be assisted by qualified RFS staff to develop your own Bush Fire Survival Plan. You don’t have to live in Canyonleigh to participate. This event is usually held in September each year. A qualified equine trainer will runs a special program to assist with horse management in the event of a bush fire.
